Big Al's order - free shipping

I need to purchase Hagen Aquaclear Impeller Shafts. Ten only brings the total to $27.10 and that does not get me close to the $75 needed to get the free shipping. Anyone else in the same boat - just need a couple items. If so please let me know and I'll add to my order to get us free shipping. I'll bring to the next meeting and you can reimb me then?

I'm constantly pulling the shafts - the impellers are fine. Seems that I have to replace shafts at least once a year. Luckily though if the shaft does break Hagen is really good about replacing the whole motor since they have a lifetime warranty.

Mike - Totally funny you brought this up. Ran into the same problem myself with 110 impellers just Friday. Was going to order some, but thought it morally reprehensible to pay $7 shipping on two $3 parts, so I dropped by Tropical Fish World and had them order some for me.

I'm going to take stock tonight to see what other impellers I need, but will jump in on your order if you don't mind.

I've only found one place on the internet that stocks the 110 impeller shafts. Good thing all the other use the same shafts.

And, I certainly don't mind.

Interesting. I broke the impeller trying to put it back in after cleaning it, the round plastic piece on the magnetic shaft. You think that will fall under their warranty? Either way I can't get in on the Big Al's order this time.

Impellers and impeller shafts are not covered - only the motor. However, the motor is covered if the impeller shaft shears off.
