I got the 50 points for being the first in the US to spawn the fish. (Wasn't with FAAS but account was published in TFH publication February 2004 (?), author Wayne Leibel.

Also, I did write an article on the breeding account that was published in the ACA Bundbarsche Bulletin, April 2007. That's another 25 points.

I have also given talks on pike breeding to CCA. That's another 10 points.

I'm sure I auctioned off the apistos, but it's not fair to go by my memory for extra points! From this point on will suffice.

I don't know why this fish is in the 10pt Category. It belongs in: Category C: 30 points - demanding to breed. These fish require specific maintenance conditions in regards to water parameters, aggression control, and/or diet. They are typically considered "rare or uncommon."
Nannacara sp. aff. aureocephalus "Soumourou" (locality varient of Nannacara aureocephalus .)

Great job on that fish, Frannie! I've kept some of the nannacaras, and just keeping them happy ain't easy.

Nice going Francine. I'd like to purchase a half a dozen when they are ready please ;) Now all I have to do is get these adoketa to breed that I can see the eggs. I know she layed eggs two weeks ago but nothing ever materialized. She spent two days all fat and sassy with her breeding tube down and then she suddenly lost weight if you know what I mean. You are correct about the points for the Nannas as well Francine. I looked and I didn't see Ivanacara on the species list, but they certainly should be in the 30 point catagory as well.

Thanks Lonni. First I have to catch them. They're in a 120. I had them in the Ted Judy hatchery, but I didn't put a screen over the hole and the parents went in there and got them out.

Thanks Julie! PH is 5.2 and no heater to boot. This is the third spawn and they are finally to size that the cardinals can't eat them.

I think it's the male. This is the second female; a quick assumption, I know, but theis female was so diligent about taking care of them.
