When the lights came on in the tank this afternoon, I found a proud momma guarding 30-40 free swimming fry. The dad is wild caught while she is a domestic strain so it should be interesting to see how the fry color up.

Held onto these much longer than anticipated thanks to COVID19, but they’re starting to look pretty good.

By the time we have another CCA meeting (early 2021, at best) these will be fully grown adults. Heck, they’re already spawning. I guess I could hold onto 6 until 2021 to donate to the club, but I’d probably prefer not to do so.
Are there alternate ways to get the points for the spawn? Document giving them away to other CCA members? I can’t be the only one in this situation.

Had some breed again. I’ve probably sold 50+ of these guys in the past two years, but there seem to always be stragglers that grow to adulthood and then spawn for me. This time I’m going to go through the necessary steps to get confirmation and BAP points before I sell the last of them.
