Anyone know anything about the aggression of these. I got two about a month ago. One is def a male, already starting to color up. They're both still juvenile, right at 2 inches, and in my 29g to grow out some before I move them into my 75.
Last night, I noticed one looking rather pale, and wasn't swimming around too much, and today I noticed that it was just hanging out at the bottom of the tank, and it's tail/fins look as if it may have been nipped. I went ahead and move it into my 20g just in case he's sick, to keep from spreading it. The other tank mates are much smaller Victorians. 1-2 inch xystichromis, so if it is aggression, it would seem to be the other Astatotilapia Latifasciata.
Hopefully the little guy pulls through. Any suggestions?
