Not enough people writing. I would be willing to get it started, but need articles and pictures from the people.

I've been planning on doing an article on Tyrannochromis for hobbyist forums from a Q+A I did with Ad Konings on that genus and clarifying T. nigriventer, T. macrostoma, and T. macrostoma's synonyms T. maculiceps and T. polyodon.

I've been putting it off for over a month now mostly because of time because I have a lot of work to do in the garage with my fish tanks, but also because I wanted to get better photos of mine since while I am sure I can get an OKAY from Ad to use a lot of his photos, I don't want to just use a lot of his photos to begin with. I want to get photos of my Tyrannochromis.

Also I want to try and find more sources (not that it's really necessary), so far I just have my email exchange with Ad and an article also authored by him in a fish magazine.

So I could contribute that whenever I am done and hold off posting it elsewhere so it debuts in this thing.

Sounds like it'll be a great article Ed. Being a big-hap keeper, I'd certainly be interested in checking it out.

How's the garage conversion coming along? Got any pics?

I used to run the newsletter over at Midwest Cichlid before i moved. I dont really have the free time to put these together but once I get the first one (a template at least) they are pretty easy to just change up some articles, graphics, etc.

The main points we took were in each article you have POTM winner on the front page, include an article(about the hobbyist) on one member telling whatever they want (usually generic questions) and at least 2 articles input by other members. So opportunities are endless. Im game to write an article, tell a story, or whatever!

I can't attach its too large of a file.

I'm not sure if we're still thinking of sending out paper newsletters via snail mail or if we're looking to do an electronic version.

We stopped for a couple reasons.

Francine does a fine job on this when we have the articles.
I think there were a few left from last year but it was a hassle.

And yes, we talked about starting again a couple months ago. Just have not done it yet.

Also, yes, we changed from printed to digital with the last one we did.

It will happen again. Hopefully soon.
