it is basically a slightly smaller, slightly prettier, slightly more expensive, silver arowana.

Aka black aros. They do stay a little smaller and rarely, if ever, develop drop eye. Beautiful fish!

Slightly smaller? Like 30" instead of +36"? I can't make a purchase like this now but in my dream tank I have arrows, rays, large geos, pikes, and if I'm lucky umbee as well. But alas 10,000 gallons just is not a viable option for me now..... darn it.

Yeah no doubt. I'm thinking greenhouse type setup. Maybe a tropical paradise? Mini Amazonas exhibit in the backyard? Along with a self sustaining aquaponics setup using the tank as the sump....
