April meetings speaker...

I can not make it to Aprils meeting which really sucks cus i really wanted to hear the speaker we have coming. Would it be possible for anyone to tape it with a vedio camera and post it up here on the boards. I know others would love to see it as well that couldnt make it! Let me know if this is at all possible. If so wahooooo!:jumpy: Thanks all!

That would be cool but YouTube only allows videos 10 mins long. I guess you could break it up into segments.

No, we don't do that because most speakers don't allow it.

Another club is having an issue right now over pretty much that same thing. The club recorded it. Then someone used that recording.
The speaker is not happy and may not ever come back.

Usually only talks at conventions are recorded and then only so the people that are working can go back and see the talk at a later date.

We made a decision years ago just not to do it so that there are no problems.

Don't worry, we will have him again.
