picked this guy up as a convict for 2.80 at petsmart. i posted this on mfk and so far have a split decision. some are saying flowerhorn, some say midas/devil...its about 2.5 inches what say you good people?

looks like a red devil or some kind of wierd barred midas hybrid. Defenitely not a convict

Hard to say... could be a Midas of some type. Or a flowerhorn. Grow it out and see what it turns into

most definitely! hopefully it is anything but a flowerhorn. that ship has sailed. it would be nice to observe something different for a while until i can get ahold of a permanent resident for my 55. how are your bartonis doing?
