Angelfish in distress- advice?

One of my stunning blue Kennedy males has been lying on his side at the top of the water all day - seems like he has an abdominal cramp or something as he can't seem to unbend completely whenever he attempts to rally. Is this something that a warm salt bath is likely to help or are there other options that anyone might suggest? Would prefer responses that do not include references to porcelain transport systems.

Hard to say w/o actually seeing it. I have a "senior citizen" who does that but it is because he got blind in one eye.

If he is cramped up, I would give him a day or so and observe. Sometimes, if it is not an infection, they do tend to fix themselves.

Melafix+Pimafix+Epsom salts - won't hurt the rest of the fish. Just a thought though.
