Curious if the dorsal fin pattern on this veil Angelfish is common?

Not one that I've seen before. It's a really cool pattern.

I thought it was pretty cool and unique.

I've seen angels with bent top dorsal fins like that and it's generally considered a defect. That being said, I think this fish looks pretty cool. I just wouldn't breed it (personal preference).

Definitely not interested in breeding fish, but I was curious about how often this showed up. I like the "uniqueness" of it.

I think its only a defect until it becomes popular. Just look at all the defective gold fish that are continually bred to keep producing the defects. It's also no different than all the long fin variants of different fishes.
