Amphilophus citrinellus spawn

It's been impending any day now....I came home tonight to find that the Amphilpohus citrinellus Rio Tempisque that I got from Jon have spawned!

I realized about a month ago that they need a warmer tank than I usually keep in my fishroom. So I added a heater and they all perked up. They've been eating like pigs and I noticed about a week ago that the female had her tube down and had really plumped up.

I'm enjoying having them! They are definitely full of personality. I've got them in with some Rainbow Cichlids and some Port Cichlids, so the feistiness has been spread around.

I have a bit of driftwood in the tank, but I think I need to swap out some of the branches for chunkier pieces. I've noticed a few scrape-ups due to fish bolting into the poky ends of the branches. It's just a matter of time till someone loses an eye...
