Alternative/Supplemental Foods

I've done some research but have decided I'd rather hear from yall about what to feed Africans in an attempt to mix things up. Any tips or suggestions? e.g., any favorite veggies? preparation? If it helps to be more specific, I'm looking for some fun alternatives for my 55 full of lively Lab. SRT Hongis (Red Top Kimpuma), Metria. Mbwecas, and Psuedo Acei.

Thanks,

David

Hey David.
"Fun alternatives"?
Is this for you or the fish?
I rather stick to Veggie Flakes and NLS, which can both be bought at CCA's YourFishStuff.com...
http://yourfishstuff.com/

I have also been giving (when I have on hand) a weekly feeding of Frozen Krill. Repashy has put out a new food that some of taken to quickly...Repashy can be purchased thru with yourfishstuff.com or Rachel...http://msjinkzd.com/
I like throwing in veggie wafers as well because, IMO, it builds a nice jaw structure to your Mbuna.

Now if it's for you...
Doritos with Paul Newman's Mango Salsa can't be beat.:)

^ Add a little Spiracha to the mango salsa and you'll be in teary-eyed bliss...

Something that I think would be cool is to put some Repashy Soilent Green on some rough rocks...and let the mbuna go at it.
