I always watch that date. Course I started selling tires in the 1800's.
Cool, I sold tires for NTW and NTB before I became a police officer. Who do you work for now? I didn't watch the whole video but age isn't the only factor. You have to consider air pressure, load ratings, alignment factors, and suspensions component failure.

Yes those thing make a difference too. To me the biggest thing is air.
You almost never see a radial tire wear out in the middle from over inflation. ONly the edges first because of under inflation. A tire that is low on air can not disapate the heat properly.

The video is about selling tires that have been sitting on a shelf for many years. Basically tells people to look at the tires they buy.
Don't except a 6 year old new tire.

I work at a gm dealership.
Sold tires at Monkey Wards and two dealers.
Grew up in a gas station back in the late 1890's. Tires were different back then though. Made from wood. lol
