Just acquired this 10" stunning male gorilla blue umbee from Drew. Now I can do a fair comparison of the two having them both in same room.

Both fish live with me and Im still awed. That rio mag has to be 6" tall. Simply a " BEAST". Thinking of naming him
" BEAST MODE". He and his bride has free swimming 1/2" fry in tank with them. Considering pulling a net full and raising in diff tank. Thats before they spawn again and decide to eat existing babies.

awesome pick up. I am loving the gorillus blues. When I get a large enough tank it will be hard to choose between them or dovii.

The umbees have more blue in my opinion. Particularly the Gorillus umbees. They look like giant electric blue jack Dempseys. Stunning in person. And that Rio Mag is a whopper of a fish. I need fry from that guy for sure.
Nice pictures.
