tds

Does anyone have a good TDS/PH/Temp electronic meter all in one they like to use a lot? I know about Hanna.. they run about 130.00 or so.... just wondering if there are any others out there? Maybe a little less expensive but just as good? I know this has been discussed before... but not in...

I wanted to get some opinions on whether using a diatom filter on aquarium water will reduce TDS in my water. I know they used to call diaton filters "water polishers" but I never really understood what that meant. What do you think. Lonny

I wanted to start a discussion here about how to interperet TDS meter readings. I have one that I have calibrated, but really don't know how to interperet the results with for my Malawi tanks. Any insight into this would be a great help. Also, does Nitrate affect TDS?
