Ive got a really nice tank that i need to sell. Its a 47 gallon Tall tank with a nice burgundy stained wooden stand with a matching burgundy canopy.
Unbelievably, i was actually able to keep cichlids in this thing for the duration that I had it (2 years), and it has kept in perfect condition...
Here is my new tank, they are loving the space! And they so do use the top half of the tank, lol.

Any advice on using sand as a substrate. I travel weekly so everything in my tank(s) has to be on auto pilot. I hear that playground sand available from HD / Lowes works fine. Thinking of stocking a smalll group of featherfins, a few leleupi and a group of 5 white calvus.

...that if Im doing a WC larger than 20% my filter intakes start to suck air. :angry3::angry3::angry3::angry3: Im running Emperor 400's and if I put the extension on the intakes they still suck air even if the end of it is completely submerged. What do you guys and gals with tall (24"+) tanks do?
