sink

Has anybody else had success getting their freeze-dried blackworms to sink so that bottom feeders can meet some? If so, what is your technique? I've tried: soaking them in tank water for an hour or more soaking them in hot water soaking them in tank water, and then freezing the water putting...

...ok, well, duh, not an actual sink, but everything that goes with the tank... A neighbor of mine gave me her old tank and unfortunately I just don't have any room for it. Of course I can't find my tape measurer so I couldn't get the dimensions but I believe it's a 45-50 gal tank. It's a hex...
