I am converting my 56 gal column tank into a discus tank. It currently houses my mbunas which I am looking to sale. The following mbunas are for sale:

Have scaled down in anticipation of a move, my sole surviving tank is a 125, it houses my Jardini and some clowns and misc small fish. Once I move, the jar will get a much larger tank.
I have drained my 75g. There is still about 1.5" of water in the tank. I would like to remove this water, but I do not have the option of tipping the tank. What would you use to remove this water? I don't want to waste a ton of paper towels. I am concerned that household towels may have residual...
