I stopped by the local PetSmart just to see what was going on and found out that they are having a sale on Aquaclear filters through August 21. AC110's were $72 and AC70's were $42. That's about as good of a price I have seen them, even on the internet. Just thought I would pass it along...

I drove to my local Petsmart and was denied a store credit or exchange for my Marineland Stealth heaters. The manager showed me a "clipping" of a February email which is really behind in the recall. I showed him one of the many websites (http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml11/11202.html)...

PETSMART WAS GREAT! I took my 3 Stealth heaters (recalled) back to Petsmart without receipts and they were happy to give me a full credit for each towards the purchase of new heaters. I got 3 Aqueons and hope they don't have the same problems as Marineland.

Petsmart has a $1 sale on misc fish. Might only be this weekend. I'm not sure Giant danios Nice size Tinfoil barbs. Tiger barbs and a bunch more. I got some Black Neons and large Buenos Aires Tetras for $1 each ....Bill

I know that the stock at PetSmart usually isn't too healthy, but the one if Frederick usually has pretty good looking fish. I was in today and they are having another one of their half off sales like they did on tetras not too long ago. This time the sale is on loaches, gouramis, and "sharks"...
