I'm looking for a young pair of Pelvicachromis Pulcher is anyone breeding these?

I believe formerly known as Pelvicachromis taeniatus "Moliwe"

I have 2 pairs of P. pulcher (common Kribensis) I'd like to part with. Both have spawned. $10/pair. These are hardy, beautiful, interesting, colorful fish. They are not difficult to spawn and are fantastic parents.

I must be crazy..... I just picked up nine Pelvicachromis pulcher. The only space that I have for them is in a 45 column. Their tank mates are some Aequidens pulcher (Electric Blue Acara) and some Heros serverus (Green Severum). I have never kept these guys before. Does anyone foresee any...

This is my first time having Pelvicachromis spawn and I have to say they are honestly my favorite fish (although I'll always have a soft spot for L. brevis). I can't get enough of watching them care for the fry. The male will snag a wayward fry now and again and spit them back into the coconut...

SO I came home from work today and went to check on the signatus. Female was in the cave, male is guarding the 10-12" radius of it. Shined a flashlight in there and saw about 20 eggs in the area where I could see. There are probably more, but I can only see 20-30% of the inside of the cave.

So looking at the Wet Spot group buy, they have wild pairs of Pelvicachromis signatus and Pelvicachromis humilis "Friya", both uncommon egg-layers. I am trying to decide on one for my 29-gallon, but I simply can't! Anyone keeping these and have any experience?

The lobe that I got from Matt C have finally spawned. I actually suspect that this might not be their first batch, based on their past behavior, but this is the first that's survived to the point where mom is ushering little fry around and showing them where to graze. They haven't ventured...

Hey guys, my pair of p.teniatus "moliwe" is in a 20 tall and I wanted to move in my limia nigrofaciata. Could the pelvicachromis spawn and raise fry with the livebearers with them or would the live bearers or fry get killed or eaten. Thanks

Breeding pair of pelvicachromis taeniatus moliwe with fry, I got these guess from Mchambers and I want to thank him for such great fish. These guys bred in my 55 gallon dirted community tank, I hope you can see the babies.
