Has anyone tried using DIY LED tape/strips in their fish room? I was wondering how hard it is to install something like this - http://amzn.com/B00B2F3KDQ - along the bottoms of racks so that they shine into the tanks below? Is this as easy as it looks or am I in for a load of trouble?

Not sure what condition it is all in, but it is a free 30 gallon tank and stand in Fairfax, VA. Here's the description: 30 Gallon Aquarium, Pine stand, light, filters, castles, rocks, etc. Needs cleaning as it's been in the garage for four years but in good condition. Was $400-500 new...
