I've noticed that some of my chitande masinje fry are randomly dying off. All the parameters are fine, and I do regular water changes. Is anything wrong? Also, I've noticed one of my one month old Saulosi seems to have either very small, undeveloped eyes or no eyes at all.

I got a group of oblongums from Sam back in October and the largest is maybe an inch and a half now. Am I doing something wrong, or are these guys just slow growers? Actually, on further examination, the largest is about two inches or so. I'm a guy, I'm not very good at judging sizes. :-)...

What do you guys do to get your fry to grow quickly? I just started doing 10% water changes once a week. Should I step this up? I'm thinking of going to 50% a day, but I don't want their parents to spawn again, possibly jeapordizing the current spawn.

I want to start tracking the growth of my young African Cichlids (and synodontis lace catfish). It should be interesting to look back in a couple of months (years) to see how much they've grown. I don't know of any way to insert charts so I'm going to have to do this the best that I can...

Just wanted to know if Umbriferum typically have a slow growth rate. I bought a couple of Green Panama Umbriferum about 4 months ago at .5 inches and they're only at 1 inch or so now. I bought a few Xanthic Managuense around .5 last month and they've already matched the Umbriferum in size.

I got 7 julie transcriptus about 6 months ago and haven't gotten much growth out of them. One has about doubled in size from 1" to just under 2", but the others haven't grown much. Just want to check and see if I am doing everything I can. I know they are supposed to grow slowly anyway. They...
