I have a 30 gallon growout tank with a randown assortment of young fish. 5 black calvus 2-2.5", 10 A. kandeense 2.5", and 6 L. Ocellatus ~2". Apparently the calvus have an appetite. I knew calvus were predators, but thought they were more likely to prey on fry/small fish. Long story short...

my male gymno. balzanni is getting "fatter" by the day.... im not talking pleasantly plump but extremely bloated...like he could explode!!!!! i dont believe he has had a bowel movement in a few days is there any "fish laxative" or maybe a med i can use before i lose this fish??????

I just got these...Wild fish, supposedly from Columbia. Claim to be Crenicichla lenticulata. Hopefully, a pair! I couldn't get a good shot of them. They're in a 75 and they huddled in the back corner. I plan to move them to a 100 long sometime this week. Hopefully setting the tank up...

One of my pair of angels has developed fat lips. Seems to me there is a cure for this. My memory is not great, but I seem to remember reading about this years ago. Ideas?
