Just collected 100 Corydoras barbatus eggs...

...twas a wondrous spawning event to behold. Amazing what fresh water and worms can precipitate. Here's hoping that a little methylene blue will keep the fungus at bay.

    My Blue Rams laid Eggs

Hello. This morning I noticed that there were several eggs on a fake plant in my 20 gallon tank. How long will it take for the eggs to hatch and should I do anything to ensure the safety/health of the eggs? The male ram is very defensive. There's 2 pairs of rams and 6 yellow tail tetras in the...

I have 6 adult angel fish. For the last 3 months they have been dividing the tank into three zones. Four days ago there were eggs on plant leaves in two of the zones. I collected as many eggs as I could and floated them in the front of the tank in a live bearer trap. The next day the trap...

    Apistogramma Macmasteri eggs

There must be something in the water, LOL, because I noticed that the Apistogramma Macmasteri that are in my 20 high community tank laid about 20 eggs on the underside of an anubias leaf. This is their first spawning, and there are danios and killis in the tank, so we'll see whether the fry...

    Discus laying eggs

Woo-Hoo! I have no idea whether the other Discus is a male, but I know I have at least one female, because I caught her in the act of laying eggs a few minutes ago: So stupid newbie question: are the eggs fertile when laid, or does the male now have to fertilize them? This being their...

Are Neolamprologus brichardii eggs opaque white?

Are the eggs of neolamprologus brichardii an opaque white? Is it common for them to lay eggs on the roof of a clay pot? Will one of the mating pair tend the eggs, looking like its kissing or cleaning them? I ask because I have two N. brichardii in my 20 long that I picked up at Aquafest, and...
