I have three clown barbs, Puntius everetti, in my pond, that will be far too big for my tanks come the cooler days of fall. An easy 5". Colorful and active. Would make good dither for soft water, mid-sized cichlids.
Will spend evening fishing them from the pond, if there's any interest.

My son is trying to breed his Denison barbs. Has anyone succeeded, and if so, how? Thus far, I've found this article:

I have a fair number of Aspidoras sp. CW052 "black fin" of saleable size for $3 ea. These get to be approximately 2" for females and slightly smaller for males. http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=2866
A nice corydoras alternative for mid sized tanks.

I have been contemplating purchasing red tail tinfoil barbs for two weeks or so. I bit the bullet and made the purchase today. By the pics on the internet they look cool and grow like regular tinfoils. I guess my question is has anybody kept these with large CA or SA cichlids like the kind I...

Thanks.
