Our next in-person meeting will be a trip to the National Zoo where we will enjoy an exclusive backstage tour of the Amazonia exhibit! Michael Kirby, an animal keeper at the zoo, has kindly offered to guide us through the exhibit, sharing insights into the care and maintenance of the incredible creatures that call this space home. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up by Monday, 3/3. Admission to the zoo is free, but parking must be reserved in advance or arranged at a nearby lot. Post your comment to this thread if you plan to join us! Plan to meet us at the front of the Amazonia exhibit by 9:30am.

I also see a few people indicating that they're interested or planning to go on our Facebook event. Do we need to let them know to sign up here?

We have been cross referencing both places and will follow up with everyone on the date of the deadline. We will add a link to the forum to the FB page, but we're tracking both. Thank you, Christine!

I definitely will be going, possibly accompanied by my husband. This is Wendy Hall from Columbia - if anyone wants to carpool from this area, let me know.
