I don't have a collection point for these. I got the pair along with an extra female from Jeff, mixed in a bunch of Cichlasoma dimerus Mato Grosso. The C. dimerus have a deeper body, are green and have a much sharper pointed snout. While these are blue, are more elongate and have a long rounded snout. I'm assuming they were not caught together as I've never heard of two species of Cichlasoma occupying the same habitat. My guess is they were caught at a different location and just added to the same holding tank as the C. dimerus, but who knows.
