red devil and oscar together?

can i put a 11" red devil with a 5" oscar in a 150 gal tall tank with 6 silver dollars? right now the red devil is solitary in a 55 gal tank that i acquired from someone that was moving, and i want to move him into the 150 with my oscar and silver dollars.

There is no right answer, as it will really depend on the fish. I would guess that the chances of success are low, based on most adult Red Devils being pretty aggressive. You could give it a chance, but you would need to do it when you have a couple of hours to watch the tank to remove the devil if it doesn't.

I have had a red devil and Oscar in a 50 since they were were juvies. Two years later, they are both 8"+ and get along splendidly.

I hope you have success--as you probably know red devils are very aggressive.
